When players win, their earnings are effectively like a well-deserved giveaway.
CoinPoker achieves this through frequent freeroll tournaments. The term “freeroll” means that users can join poker games without paying an entry fee. Upon entering these competitions, participants are provided with free chips to start.
Getting started is straightforward; players simply download the CoinPoker client and navigate to the “Tournaments” section. CoinPoker organizes tournaments monthly, including a “Monthly Leaderboard Tournament” with a prize pool of 15,000 USDT, and winners can claim a portion of this pool.
Additionally, the platform hosts special events featuring even larger prize pools. It hosted the largest online poker pot in history in 2022 and still boasts some of the biggest cash game pots around. 4. Smog – Top Crypto Airdrop Giveaway on the SOL Blockchain
One of the best cryptocurrency giveaways is being conducted by Smog ($SMOG) – a hot new meme cryptocurrency. Currently, token holders can start generating airdrop points by holding $SMOG – the native token.
Built on the Solana blockchain, Smog recently launched on the Jupiter DEX – which has been receiving more trading volume than Uniswap. However, this is a multi-chain token and you can also buy it using ETH or USDT on the Smog website, and stake it to earn 42% APY.
After launching at a $2 million market cap – the $SMOG token soared by more than 1,300% in under 24 hours. One of the reasons for this strong start can be attributed to Smog’s promise of conducting one of the greatest SOL airdrop giveaways.
Notably, 35% of the total 1.4 billion $SMOG supply will be offered as airdrops. Currently, one can generate airdrop points by simply holding the token. You can also receive points by joining Smog across socials such as the Twitter and Telegram channel. In the future, Smog will host regular quests – allowing users to further increase their airdrop holdings.
Depending on how many points you hold, Smog promises to offer a huge airdrop payout in the future. While the meme space may be saturated, Smog is going all out with its marketing campaign – allocating half of its token supply to promote the project. In the long term, $SMOG wants to become the next Bonk. Read the Smog whitepaper to find out more about this cryptocurrency.
5. Pepe – A 120 million PEPE Giveaway by TodayTrader

With each friend you refer, you get to open an additional packet and climb the ladder. The top 10 referrers will earn $50 USDT each.
With Binance being one of the best crypto exchanges in terms of available cryptocurrencies, deposit and withdrawal methods, low trading fees, and a whole list of additional features, even if you don’t get to participate in a crypto giveaway, it could be worth having a Binance account as a crypto onramp.
7. MEXC – Multiple Giveaways Ideal for Futures Traders and Airdrop Farmers

For example, you can earn up to $56 each week for meeting the volume trading requirements. These come at around $80,000 volume daily, which you can easily reach with a $1,000 trade and 8x leverage. As you climb the ladder, you can earn up to $3,000 for reaching first place in MEXC’s ranking.
Moreover, holders of MEXC’s token MX can earn constant airdrops of new token launches. To participate in this crypto giveaway, you need to buy at least 1,000 MX tokens, hold them for a select period – often 30 days – and select “Quick Commit” to participate in a new token airdrop.

There’s also $5,000 worth of Yuliverse NFTs for grabs. All you need to do is have an OKX account and join the event. Read the event details for any additional requirements.

Bitget is a crypto exchange focused on futures trading where it frequently has over $10 billion in trading volume. It offers anything you can get with other exchanges, including spot and futures trading, trading bots, API to automate your trades, web3 wallet for NFTs and DeFi and more.
As far as crypto giveaways go, Bitget rewards its users for completing daily tasks. This way you earn points, which you can convert to USDT. There are several ways to earn points, including turning a fortune wheel and inviting friends but completing tasks is the most straightforward way to earn these points. You need to pass KYC, make a deposit, make a trade, and do similar tasks that you are likely to do anyway.
From time to time, Bitget hosts trading challenges where the prize pool can go as high as $100,000 USDT. There could be additional requirements, such as trading a select cryptocurrency and meeting a certain volume threshold. Based on your performance and how high you rank, you get rewarded.
How do Crypto Giveaways Work?
Crypto giveaways typically work by offering participants the chance to receive free cryptocurrency tokens, coins or NFTs through various promotional activities. These activities can be opening an account with a crypto exchange, depositing a certain amount, trading a certain amount on the spot market or the futures market, staking select coins and more. Completing the activities gives you entry into the giveaway.
Once you complete the task, typically there is a draw where all participants share from a prize pool. Sometimes, this is merit-based – for example, whether you reached a top ten position in the task – sometimes it’s random, or sometimes all participants earn a reward.
It’s rare to find free crypto giveaways in the sense that you don’t have to do anything. Those that are free giveaways, typically have a minimal reward or incentivize you to start completing tasks or referring friends to increase the rewards. It’s important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of giveaways to avoid potential scams or fraudulent activities, which are growing rampant as crypto adoption increases.
How to Enter a Crypto Giveaway
Entering a crypto giveaway is straightforward. We’ll take a look at how to participate in Smog’s Giveaway as it doesn’t have any requirements aside from opening an account. Participating in other crypto giveaways may differ depending on the task required.
Step 1: Connect a Crypto Wallet
The first step is to purchase $SMOG tokens from the Jupiter decentralized exchange. You can connect to this DEX and purchase tokens with Solana-compatible wallets such as Phantom.
Step 2: Buy and Hold $SMOG
Once your crypto wallet is connected, swap $SMOG with other compatible cryptos such as Solana (SOL), Tether (USDT), and Bonk (BONK). Once your tokens are purchased, Smog will automatically start tracking your airdrop points.
Step 3: Join the Airdrop
Users must officially sign-up to the airdrop by joining the Smog community on Zealy. This will help you earn extra airdrop points. You can also earn points by completing upcoming quests on the platform. The points will be updated every few weeks. In the future, Smog will announce the allocation of the airdrop points.
Crypto Giveaway Scams
Unfortunately, crypto giveaway scams are everywhere in the cryptocurrency space. You’ll find them as ads on social media, especially Twitter, in your email, and definitely on Discord if you’re active in any crypto-related channels.
These scams target individuals who want to get free cryptocurrencies or NFT drops, exploiting the desire for quick profits, especially after a recent cryptocurrency has skyrocketed. There are several types of crypto scams, including:
- Impersonation – Impersonating well-known individuals or projects, such as prominent cryptocurrency influencers or reputable blockchain platforms to give credibility to the scam. You’ll notice it by using a misspelled name or using a weird website name, for example, “jlto” instead of “jito”.
- Fake project – Fake projects often claim to give you free NFT or token airdrop. All you have to do is visit the website – typically advertised on Twitter – connect your wallet and sign a transaction. Instead of receiving your airdrop, you will find your wallet drained. Because of that, it’s important to have a burner wallet that you use to connect to shady sites and keep your real assets in a separate wallet. If the drop is legit and you can sell it, great, move the reward you earned to another wallet. But if it’s a fake website that drains your wallet, you won’t lose much.
- Hacks – This has happened many times and it’s likely to happen again. For example, Vitalik Buterin’s Twitter account got hacked and the hacker shared a malicious link that drained close to $700,000 from the victims. Similar things have happened with the Ledger hack where a former Ledger employee had their account hacked and the hackers managed to enter a malicious code on Connect Kit, which is used to connect the hardware wallet to DeFi apps.
It’s crucial that you remain vigilant and never share your wallet seed phrase with anyone, which sometimes could be a “requirement” from a fake and scam bitcoin giveaway.
Recent Biggest Crypto Giveaway Scam
Elon Musk is no doubt one of the most influential people on crypto Twitter. His tweets can move markets as we’ve seen Dogecoin move 4% after Musk tweeted about it. Because of that, many crypto giveaway scams try to leverage his name and his companies to scam unsuspecting victims.
One version of such a scam is a fake SpaceX YouTube video stream where Elon Musk talks with someone or holds a speech and on the screen there’s a QR code that says you will earn two BTC or ETH back if you send one on the provided address. Of course, you won’t get anything back if you send your coins.
Similar videos ran in the past with Elon Mush and Cathie Wood where they talk about Tesla in a completely legit video overlaid with a scam QR code. Don’t fall for it, no one will give you a full Bitcoin or Ethereum coin for nothing.
Another Elon crypto giveaway scam is a SpaceX token presale. There is no such thing as a legitimate SpaceX crypto token as of this writing. These tokens are scams. If you buy the fake tokens in a presale, you can only hope that at some point you can sell them and recover some of your investment.
How to Tell If a Crypto Giveaway is a Scam?
It’s Too Good to Be True
The easiest way to tell if a crypto giveaway is a scam is to use the old “if it’s too good to be true it probably is”. No one will give you free money in crypto for nothing. Even people who got massive token airdrops like the recent JITO airdrop on Solana where some users got over $20,000 worth of tokens, didn’t get them for free – they earned their way there for the past couple of years by using the Jito protocol and staking their SOL coins there.
Typos and Misspellings
The second warning sign is a typo. As they say, the devil is in the details, and if the project or the token name is misspelled, it’s almost guaranteed that it’s a scam. Typically they will use popular names from the crypto industry, whether it be influencers or projects to pass as legitimate.
Send Crypto to Get Crypto
Finally, no legitimate project will ask you to send cryptocurrencies to get more cryptocurrencies in return. If you see a YouTube livestream with Elon Musk or popular crypto influencers where they ask you to send one Bitcoin to get two back, run. Or better yet – report the channel to YouTube.
What to do if You Spot a Crypto Giveaway Scam
This largely depends on what kind of crypto giveaway scam it is. If it’s a video stream, simply close the video and you’re safe. If the scam requires of you to visit a website, connect your wallet and sign a transaction, there’s only one thing you could do – use a burner wallet.
Keep your assets in separate wallets. And never connect to any site, especially if you’re not familiar with it. Burner wallets are hot wallets with just enough funds in them to cover the transaction costs. If you sign a transaction at a scam website, they won’t have anything to steal from you. But if you sign a transaction where you hold your assets, you can lose everything within seconds.
Crypto Giveaways Rating Methodology
We compared multiple crypto giveaways to find the best. Here’s how we evaluated each giveaway:
- Project legitimacy. All of our crypto giveaways are from large well-established crypto exchanges. This instantly passes the scam filter.
- Value. Our next evaluation metric was the value you get from the giveaways. Of course, crypto exchanges offer constant giveaways and the value could differ. But overall, you know how much you can earn when you participate in the giveaway.
- How easy it is to earn. Some giveaways require either high trading volume or provide unreasonable expectations that you earn a top three spot in a trading competition. The giveaways we covered are typically easy to get and require that you open an account and often stake a certain cryptocurrency to earn the reward.
- Transparency. Another criterion we employed was transparency. This means you know what’s expected of you and how much you can earn in the giveaway, without hidden costs and requirements.
Crypto Giveaways: Bottom Line
As the cryptocurrency ecosystem continues to evolve, the best crypto giveaways serve as a quick reward but also as a community-building tool and for your education, especially if trading crypto is a requirement to earn a specific giveaway reward.
One of the top crypto giveaways is being conducted by CoinPoker, and this giveaway doesn’t have an end date. Provided through freeroll tournaments, this giveaway allows players to participate in poker tournaments for free and earn real prizes paid out in USDT.
Bitcoin Giveaway FAQs

How to get free Bitcoin?

Ether Drops Further After ETF Launch

Key points
- Spot ether ETFs began trading in the U.S. today, with the funds initially having more than $10 billion in collective assets under management.
- Analysts expect the launch of spot ether ETFs to have a net negative impact on the underlying price of ether in the near term, due to expected outflows from the pre-existing Grayscale Ethereum Trust.
- Spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to see strong inflows, with BlackRock’s IBIT alone seeing more than $500 million in inflows on Monday.
- Franklin Templeton, a spot ETF issuer on bitcoin and ether, has invested in a project that intends to bring Ethereum technology to Bitcoin.
Nine-point ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs)) started trading on the stock market on Tuesday, but all the optimism ahead of their approval did not translate into gains for the cryptocurrency markets.
Ether (ETH), the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain, dropped less than 1% around the $3,400 level as of 1:30 PM ET, while Bitcoin (BTC) fell more than 2% to around $66,000.
Ether ETFs’ Debut Isn’t as Flashy as Bitcoin ETFs’
Spot ether ETFs began trading at just over $10 billion assets under management (AUM)), according to Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart, most of that money is in the current Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) which has now been converted into an ETF.
“In the long term, Grayscale will simultaneously have the highest and lowest fees in the market. The asset manager’s decision to keep its ETHE fee at 2.5% could lead to outflows from the fund,” Kaiko Research said in a note on Monday.
Outflows from ETHE, if they occur, would be similar to those faced by Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) after spot bitcoin ETFs began trading in January of this year, most likely due to high fees for the two original funds. Grayscale’s existing fund charges 2.5% fees, while a new “mini” ether ETF will charge 0.15% and commissions for other ETFs are set at 0.25% or less.
Such outflows could impact the price of ether and market sentiment.
“There could be a pullback shortly after the launch of Ethereum spot ETFs, i.e. outflows from Grayscale Ether Trust could dampen market sentiment in the short term,” Jupiter Zheng, a partner at Hashkey Capital’s liquid fund, told The Block.
But Grayscale remains optimistic.
“Compared to the splashy debut of spot bitcoin ETPs in January, the launch of ethereum ETPs has been relatively muted,” said Zach Pandl, Grayscale’s head of research, adding that investors may be “undervaluing” ether ETFs that are “coming to the U.S. market in tandem with a shift in U.S. cryptocurrency policy and the adoption of tokenization by major financial institutions.”
Bitcoin ETF Inflows Continue to Rise
As for bitcoin, there is clearly no lack of demand for spot ETFs, such as BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBITS) recorded its sixth-largest day of inflows in its short history on Monday, at $526.7 million, according to data from Farside Investors. Daily inflows for the overall spot bitcoin ETF market also hit their highest level since June 5.
In particular, asset manager Franklin Templeton, which has issued both bitcoin and ether ETFs, appears to have decided to cover its back when it comes to Ethereum by investing in Bitlayer, a way to implement Ethereum technology on a second-layer Bitcoin network, according to CoinDesk.

Kamala Harris Odds Surge Amid $81M Fundraise. What Does It Mean for Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies?

The odds of Harris being declared the Democratic nominee have risen further to 90% on cryptocurrency betting app Polymarket, up from 80% on Monday and setting a new high.
Previously, in early July, bettors were only betting on 8%, but that changed on Saturday when incumbent President Joe Biden announced he would no longer run in the November election. Biden then approved Harris as a candidate.
Polymarket traders placed $28.6 million in bets in favor of Harris, the data showsThe second favorite is Michelle Obama.
Somewhere else, Memecoin KAMA based on Solanaa political meme token modeled after Harris, has jumped 62% to set a new all-time high of 2 cents at a market cap of $27 million. The token is up a whopping 4,000% from its June 18 low of $0.00061, buoyed primarily by the possibility of Harris becoming president.
As such, Harris has yet to publicly comment on cryptocurrencies or her strategy for the growing market. On the other hand, Republican candidate Donald Trump has expressed support for the cryptocurrency market and is expected to appear at the Bitcoin 2024 conference on Saturday.
However, some expect Harris or the Democratic Party to mention the sector in the coming weeks, which could impact price action.
“While he has not yet received the official nomination, there is consensus that last night’s development is in line with current Democratic strategy,” cryptocurrency trading firm Wintermute said in a Monday note emailed to CoinDesk. “Keep an eye on Democrats’ comments on this issue in the coming days.
“The prevailing assumption is that Harris will win the nomination and any deviation from this expectation could cause market volatility,” the firm added.
