A Shiba Inu member shares a crucial message with the SHIB community
This past weekend, the Shiba Inu community received a further call to exercise caution as the cryptocurrency market is currently experiencing an increase in fraudulent activity. Lucie, project marketing manager, has made it to social media to reiterate an important message regarding the Shibarium TREAT ecosystem token. In her X post, Lucie warned all SHIB enthusiasts that TREAT hasn’t launched yet, warning them to watch out for “many impostors targeting #SHIBArmy.” Concluding the message, the marketing manager urged those interested in the Shiba Inu project to only follow its legitimate X accounts to get the right information and avoid confusion. Recall that TREAT is a reward token with multiple purposes, one of which is to provide liquidity to the SHI stablecoin.
Ripple CTO Demystifies Tokenization and Stuns the XRP Community
Fintech giant Ripple recently posted a new clip in “Crypto In One Minute” on its official X handle. THE clip presents the company’s CTO David Schwartz, explaining how tokenization can improve efficiency. Schwartz began the explanation with a quote supposedly from Albert Einstein: “If someone can’t explain something in 60 seconds, they probably don’t understand it,” proving that true understanding doesn’t take a full minute. The CTO said tokenization can improve efficiency by eliminating some of the hassles of transferring and owning assets. This can be done with the use of digital distributed ledgers, which will help track ownership of assets. “This also simplifies things like if you want to borrow an asset, use the asset as collateral, the person providing the loan can more easily determine that you own the asset and can make sure you are not borrowing from a number of different ledgers” , Schwartz clarified, boasting that his explanation didn’t even take a minute.
Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum surprises with the Dogecoin message
Last week the crypto community, and especially members of the DOGE military, were surprised by some sad news; Kabosu (affectionately known as “Kabochan”), the dog who became the face of the Dogecoin meme cryptocurrency, has died. Atsuko Sato, Kabosu’s owner, wrote in a post on X that her beloved pet died peacefully in her sleep. Many prominent figures in the cryptocurrency industry have reacted to the disappearance of the Dogecoin symbol and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin was no exception. Buterin responded to Atsuko Sato’s message with a simple but touching message: “Rest in peace Kabochan.” The Dogecoin Foundation also paid tribute, posting on X, “Rest in peace, dear Kabosu, beloved Doge. You were truly wow.” Recall that the meme with the iconic photo of Kabosu went viral in 2010. Three years later, the Dogecoin asset was created, with Kabosu becoming its mascot.
