Crypto Price Today: Bitcoin Surpasses $43,000 Mark, Most Altcoins See Profit
On Thursday, December 28, Bitcoin recorded a profit of 1.38 percent on Thursday, December 28. With this, the value of Bitcoin reached the price of $43,064 (approximately Rs. 35.8 lakh). In the last 24 hours, the value of Bitcoin has shot up by $846 (approximately Rs. 70,426). At the time of writing, Bitcoin maintained a market dominance of 49.9%. Despite the slight rise in Bitcoin prices, it is actually Ether that shines brightest on Thursday.
Ethereum touched the $2,400 mark (around Rs. 1.99 lakh) as it surged almost 9% in the last 24 hours.
“Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently expressed interest in revamping Ethereum’s proof of stake, which has created positive sentiment around the largest altcoin,” Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin told Gadgets360.
Ethereum hit its 19-month high while crossing the $2,500 mark (approximately Rs. 2.08 lakh).
“ETH and its scaling solutions, as well as almost all major Tier 2s, also saw significant gains, with Arbitrum’s ARB (+26.7%) leading the way; Optimism OP (+22.2%) also saw significant gains,” the CoinSwitch Markets Desk told Gadgets360.
Tron, Chain link, Shiba Inu, CardanoAnd Dogecoin appeared among the gainers on the crypto chart.
Wrapped Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, UniswapAnd Cosmos also made minor profits.

The crypto market capitalization, at the time of writing, stood at $1.69 trillion (approximately Rs. 1,40,65,810 crore) after rising 2.47% in the last 24 hours, a watch CoinMarketCap.
In the meantime, Attached, Solana, USD Coin, avalanche, PeasAnd Polygon posted losses on Thursday.
