The price of Ethereum (ETH) has fallen by 5.29% since yesterday.

On the hourly chart, ETH price is in the middle of the local channel, between the support at $2,809 and the resistance at $3,108. With most of the ATR broken, there is little chance of any sharp moves by the end of the day.

On the daily timeframe, the price of the main altcoin made a false breakout of the $2,814 support level. At the moment, we should pay attention to the closing of the bar.
If this happens closer to $3,000, the bulls could take the initiative, which may lead to a rise towards the $3,100 mark.

From a medium-term perspective, traders should focus on the weekly candlestick close. If it occurs near the low of the bar, it is possible to see a breakout of the support, followed by an explosion towards the $2,600 area.
Ethereum is trading at $2,984 at press time.
