INTMAX, a new Ethereum ZK group with a stateless architecture, is calling on blockchain developers and privacy advocates to submit their ideas to reward users who contribute to privacy on its network. The blockchain team is also a partner and sponsor of the most anticipated event in the EVM ecosystem in Q3 2024.
INTMAX L2 Calls for Ideas for Privacy-Centric Reward Tools
INTMAX, a sponsor and key supporter of ETHGlobal Brussels 2024, and a cutting-edge, zero-knowledge, layer-2 Ethereum data collection system, shares details of its new initiative focused on improving privacy in the ecosystem. A $5,000 reward will be offered to an entity or individual who proposes a privacy-centric solution to reward network contributors.
Suggestions could cover both airdrop or mining based reward models. INTMAX. It is acceptable to submit a simple idea, but it must be compelling to outperform someone who has also implemented it. As stated in the documentation, rewarding users for privacy without duplication remains a difficult problem for credible and active networks in 2024.
Privacy protocols like INTMAX have a unique dynamic, where more network participants translate to greater privacy for each user. This is quite different from most DeFi protocols, where having more users means greater competition for rewards.
The more participants in a privacy protocol contribute their funds, the more privacy is guaranteed to all involved. This is a unique dynamic, where having more “competitors” actually benefits the privacy of each user, unlike in traditional financial applications, where more users means more competition for rewards.
On the other hand, adding more users allows malicious actors to exploit vulnerabilities and obtain lucrative rewards without actually contributing to the privacy of the network. To ensure the integrity of privacy networks and properly incentivize users, it is necessary to close these vulnerabilities.
Improved privacy for future token distributions on EVM
The INTMAX competition is one of many tempting prizes up for grabs at ETHGlobal Brussels, with a total prize pool of over $450,000 on offer to developers who stand out from the crowd at one of Europe’s largest annual hackathon events.
Technically, the competition invites developers to propose the most secure and resource-efficient implementation of the Quiz mechanism, or to develop a superior solution that solves the challenges of privacy rewards once and for all.
Developers are not required to program the deposit and withdrawal process, or even provide privacy guarantees, but should simply focus on designing the actual reward system.
