Michael Saylor, president of MicroStrategy and Bitcoin advocate, made a bold statement on the matter Bitcoin is the “Godzilla” ready to revolutionize and potentially dismantle existing fiat financial models. This is the latest of its rounds of support for the world’s largest crypto asset.
Speaking to BTC Prague At the event, Saylor highlighted the growing adoption and extraordinary performance of Bitcoin as key factors in this transformation.
Saylor’s vision of Bitcoin
Saylor passionately argued that Bitcoin would make all existing financial and political models obsolete, radically reshaping systems that have been in place for millennia.
He declared: “All your patterns will be destroyed, your political patterns, everything we have learned in 10,000 years.”
The president of MicroStrategy criticized modern statisticians who attempt to make financial projections using outdated methods. He compared them to medieval warriors who used bows, arrows, chariots and elephants in a battle against an opponent equipped with explosives, aircraft and other advanced weapons.
From Saylor’s perspective, Bitcoin represents this sophisticated and disruptive force in the financial sector. According to him, the current financial system has no chance of resisting the imminent change that is sure to come.
Saylor has consistently advocated for investors to explore Bitcoin adopting a disciplined approach to investing. While highlighting the pros, the MicroStrategy president warns against the pitfalls of trying to time the market or making large speculative bets.
Saylor advocates understanding Bitcoin
According to Saylor, a true understanding of Bitcoin’s potential reveals its ability to disrupt and disrupt conventional financial models. He argued that Bitcoin is the revolutionary force in the financial sector, likening its impact to a powerful and unstoppable entity.
In a recent post on X after Bitcoin rose to $71,000, Saylor, using an AI-generated photo of a bee inside a hive with a Bitcoin mascot inside, he urged investors to “Join the swarm.” It is a subtle reference to aligning with the rapidly growing global community of believers and BTC holders.
