Upbit added power to STG

In a development that sparks enthusiasm in Korea crypto On stage, Upbit, the country’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it had listed the Stargate Finance (STG) token. The announcement made on their official website caused a sudden increase in the price of STG. According to CoinGecko data, the token surged 70% from $0.48 to $0.81 following the listing announcement. Trading in STG will begin at 12:45 p.m. today and is currently trading in South Korean Won (KRW). Upbit said investments in STG coins will only be accepted through the Ethereum network and warned users to avoid transfers from other blockchains.

Binance expands its transactions

While Upbit is making headlines in Korea, global crypto giant Binance has also announced some exciting developments. The exchange announced that it has added two new trading pairs to the spot market: NEAR/BRL and NOT/USDC. These lists are aimed at users in Brazil (BRL) and the broader USD Coin (USDC) market, respectively. New registrations begin today, May 30, 2024.

Additionally, Binance is also enabling “Algorithmic Spot Orders” and “Trading Bots” services for the new NEAR/BRL and NOT/USDC pairs to improve user experience. These features potentially facilitate investment activities by providing users with automated trading strategies.
