The famous Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has it participated the list of crypto-curious celebrities. “Who is Solana…? I don’t know that bitch,” the 33-year-old hip-hop artist posted on the social network X.

The post had a mixed reception within the cryptocurrency community, with some social media users expressing concerns about potential better signals.

Azalea rose to fame with her smash hit “Fancy,” released in collaboration with British pop star Charli XCX. The song spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. She went on to simultaneously occupy the top two positions on the major American music charts with her film “Problem” by Ariana Grande. In 2014, she also had three simultaneous Hot 100 hits with “Black Widow,” a single released in collaboration with British pop singer Rita Ora, and the two aforementioned hits.

“The New Classic”, Azalea’s debut album, managed to get a Grammy nomination and a platinum certification in the United States.

After “Digital Distortion”, Azalea’s second album, was scrapped, its subsequent efforts (“In My Defense” and “The End of an Era”) ended up being commercial failures. That said, the Australian rapper managed to bounce back in 2018 with “Kream.” The hit, released in collaboration with Tyga, managed to obtain platinum certification in the United States despite low peaks in the charts around the world.

Azalea isn’t the only hip-hop artist to express interest in cryptocurrencies this week. Rich the Kid, who recently appeared on Kanye West’s track “Carnival,” recently claimed to be by throwing your token.
